What is Grapefruit Seed Extract?
Grapefruit Seed Extract comes from the seeds, pulp and the white membranes of the grapefruit. Also referred to as Citricidal, GSE or Citrus Seed Extract, Health Leads maximum strength capsule contains high amounts of disease-fighting antioxidants and bioflavonoids which stimulate the immune system.
What does Grapefruit Seed Extract do?
Grapefruit Seed Extract is a great source of Vitamin C and it can work to stabilise the body's pH levels. It contains fibre, potassium and pectin. Some consider it as an antiviral and anti-bacterial agent and it may also work as a natural antiseptic. The physicist Dr Jacob Harich was one of the first to document the benefits of Grapefruit Seed Extract. He noticed that many traditional societies used it as a disinfectant. A recent study from the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine found that Grapefruit Seed Extract was effective in killing over '800 bacterial and viral strains' and '100 strains of fungi' as well as a large number of parasites.
Suggested Adult Use
As a food supplement, take one capsules 1 to 2 times daily with or without food.
